Exercises are geared to incorporate experimental techniques in combination with revelatory inspiration. 

This workshop is for those who participated with us last March 18th and all newcomers as well.

       Boston is the site of much secular and spiritual history. A strategic city that sits on the northeastern Atlantic coast, it was once a spiritual beachhead during The Great Awakening of the 1700's and the revivals of the 1800's, but now is considered one of the least reached cities in the United States . An intellectual fortress and hotbed of liberalism, Boston hosts 45 college campuses and 300,000 college students. We believe it is God's will to bring another Great Awakening to Boston, starting with the multitudes of unreached college students who remind us that "the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few" (Luke 10:2).

      Bob Weiner shared his vision with Derek Levendusky of Isaiah 6 Ministries, Justin Kendrick of Holyfire Ministries, and Kent Murawski of BASIC College Ministries, and found that the Holy Spirit had also been speaking to their hearts about the New England area. These will team together to trust the Lord for The Boston Awakening. Intercessors Jerry and Judy Ball will lead the Pray For Boston week that kick off the campaign.

The Iranian leader is as extreme as they come and Israel is as beleaguered as ever.  It is more important than ever to remember that. “our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark word and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” {Eph. 6:12 }

                            AZUSA

A-Z USA .   A-Z represents Alpha-Omega, God is the Alpha-Omega, the beginning and the end.  He wants to pour out is anointing on the USA . 

Back in 1999, I was given the word that the number 9 (NINE) would mean a great significance to me in the future.   NINE is a significant number meaning birthing and the 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit.  I believe with all the significance of nines, the Lord is birthing something.

On December 9^th 2004 , the Lord called for a solemn assembly at the State House.  After the solemn assembly took place a prophetic word said there would be more in the future.

On April 9. 1906,  A sacred assembly was held in Boston led by Bishop Thomson

I was asked to go to the AZUSA Street Centennial held in Los Angeles . CA.  This assembly was to celebrate the 100^th anniversary of the revival breakout that took place on April 9^th 1906- (the FIRST PENTECOSTAL MOVEMENT TO HIT AMERICA and the nations.  The power and the fire of the Holy Spirit came down and the people of that time, received a great anointing and was commissioned by God to spread the good news.  When I went to the celebration, I was not aware of the great significance of the revival until I witnessed thousands of people, from all over the world, representing their nations.  They were thanking and praising God, and witnessing about the fire and the power of the Pentecostal experience that was brought to their nations by the missionaries and evangelists from the Azusa Street Revival back in 1906.  This Azusa Street revival was a great impact on their nations.     They were very grateful for our ancestors who brought the Pentecostal experience and anointing to their nations.  From that 1^st Pentecost, many denominations were founded, and miracles and wonders took place all over the world.

 On the same date, April 9^th a year before the Azusa Street revival, a great Pentecostal revival came to Wales . Since that great event, a pastor from Los Angeles asked for prayer for revival for his city and because of the result of that prayer, a revival came to that city a year later.  It was very humbling to me to think of how much a prayer meeting can affect a nation which happened on Bonnie Brae Street , in a small insignificant house in a very ordinary neighborhood in Los Angeles , CA .  The Bonnie Brae House is the only remaining historic site related to the Azusa Revival.  The House has occupied a roughly equivalent position in modern history as does the upper room in biblical history.  It is all the more significant in light of the fact that the Azusa Street location has been demolished and no longer exists.  It was here on April 9, 1906 , that a small group of African-American Christians, led in prayer by William J. Seymour were baptized in the Holy Spirit, as the apostles had been in the book of Acts.

In walking through this house, I could feel the anointing all around me.   I felt waves around my legs, and it felt like the floor was moving under my feet, and a heavy anointing came upon me and I began to weep. People that I was with had to hold me up.  In one of the rooms was Katherine Kulman’s pulpit.  I began to weep profusely.  I reached out to touch it and literally had to be carried out of the room.  I was taken outside and I leaned up against the house to get my bearings and a woman walked towards me as I was leaning against the house, and she was nearly knocked down and said “the anointing is all over you.”  I really don’t know what this all means other than Jesus is Lord, and the Holy Spirit is very present.  If that is just a taste of what is ready to happen, bring it on Holy Spirit!!!!!

Praise be to God and His presence and power.  Let the revival begin.  Let’s pray as never before.

a..HR-4681 and the McConnell-Biden Palestinian Anti-Terrorism Act

These two bills in the House and Senate would deny U.S. funds to the Palestinian Authority unless the current Hamas Government reverses itself  in its expressed determination to kill Jews and destroy Israel .  For the past 12 years, billions of dollars have been given to the Palestinian Authority and approximately 80% has been diverted to support the terrorist gangs that have committed 28,000 attacks killing 1,700 Israelis and wounding approximately 7,000 innocent civilians.  These are the numbers since 1993 when Arafat signed the Oslo PeaceAccords.  The Palestinian Authority has received the second highest per person aid worldwide.  This aid was based on overstated demographics.  The Palestinian Authority has nothing to show for these billions except continued poverty, the obscenely wealthy political elite, the strengthening of a dozen terrorist armies and the election of Hamas.  American taxpayer dollars should not be used to further Hamas terrorism.  This legislation should be supported by every Congressman and Senator.  Please contact your senators and representatives to support these bills. www.necp.org

A CALL TO SACRED ASSEMBLY FOR BOSTON & NEW ENGLAND

PALM SUNDAY   APRIL 9, 2006

Purpose: For the Christian community of Greater Boston to gather across denominational, cultural and economic lines to pray for God’s revival, to seek God’s peace for the city and to pray for God’s blessing and protection upon our youth.

Bishop G.A. Thompson writes: "[We are calling this Sacred Assembly] in recognition of the need to repent and pray for God to forgive our sins, both corporate and individual; to seek God’s face for the healing of our land (2 Chronicles 7:14); and to unite as one church to be conduits through which God’s power can flow to bring peace and prosperity to all in our city." Will the Lord send fire from heaven. How to get prepared

I was about ten when I realized that everyone didn’t have ongoing conversations with the Lord throughout the day.  Surprisingly, I learned this in church when Sister Cheryl my 5’9” beauty of a Bible study teacher towered over me with that, “do you need to be committed?” look on her face.  Over 243 years later, I am still learning how to express my faith in a melting pot of spirituality where the expectations of what a “Higher Power” can do are lukewarm to say the least.

Earlier this year, Katha Pollitt, writer for the Nation, posed the sardonic question, “Jesus to the Rescue?” She reflects a growing sentiment that trusting in God is a crutch for the feeble mind, at best, and, in the worst case, a dangerous weapon in the hands of bigoted fanatics.  However, every ideology, whether religious or secular, motivates believers because of the truth and hope embedded in it.  Can it be more wrong to look to the heavens for help than to our own ideals?

Yet it can be intimidating for average Americans, like me, to publicly express this hoe when the bold and beautiful thought leaders of the world bombard us with the certain sounding message that true faith in something greater than ourselves is ludicrous.  We all have our gods, right Katha?  Why not call out to our God, Sister Cheryl? Why shouldn’t we expect him to respond to us when we need so desperately to be rescued?

In the streets and communities of our urban neighborhoods, we don’t have the luxury of doubt.  Our lack of hope and integrity has bled over into the hearts of our most bleak reality for Boston ’s boys and girls.  Over 85% of youth surveyed had witnessed scale, and young women were even more likely to feel hopeless about their future.  Strong indicators evidence this worsening since.  Even while the US Department of Justice reports decreases in juvenile crime nationally, the  power of violence, rage and bit of faith in something supernatural.

Well… a miracle is afoot.  Boston ’s most divided faith tradition has allowed to power of agreement to outweigh the forces of shame and bewilderment that drive so many Americans into spiritual isolation.  On April 9^th, Catholics, Protestants and friends from all over Massachusetts will converge on Franklin Field in Dorchester for a “Sacred Assembly.”  At this solemn gathering we will grieve division and death in all their forms we will acknowledge as a community our need to change, and, most important, in unity we will call on the Name of the Lord, Ye, Jesus.

I am not afraid to say it anymore,.  I believe in Jesus.  I mean, I really believe—with expectations.  When we gather and call out, He is going to hear and send down fire in the manner of Elijah’s day.  A fire that looks like love.  A fire that looks like unity.  A fire that spreads wild, expressing itself as healing in our Boston communities and throughout the Commonwealth.  What ever happened to the proverbial Amen?  Can I get one?

It’s little known that the number of Christian churches in metropolitan Boston has been growing faster than the population for over 25 years.  This is largely due to the growth in Black and immigrant congregations which can fall under the radar screen of popular research.  These same groups are leading Christians of every race and socioeconomic status to come together acknowledging our own part in the death and destruction we witness on the news and in our own streets.  While it is tempting to “pull a Katha,” and look down on us urban church folk like untoward Sunday school children, I am hoping that the Commonwealth’s communities will wake up with us and agree.  We in the church have been feeble minded and power hungry.  We need to change.  We need God’s help.

a..HR-4681 and the McConnell-Biden Palestinian Anti-Terrorism Act

These two bills in the House and Senate would deny U.S. funds to the Palestinian Authority unless the current Hamas Government reverses itself  in its expressed determination to kill Jews and destroy Israel .  For the past 12 years, billions of dollars have been given to the Palestinian Authority and approximately 80% has been diverted to support the terrorist gangs that have committed 28,000 attacks killing 1,700 Israelis and wounding approximately 7,000 innocent civilians.  These are the numbers since 1993 when Arafat signed the Oslo PeaceAccords.  The Palestinian Authority has received the second highest per person aid worldwide.  This aid was based on overstated demographics.  The Palestinian Authority has nothing to show for these billions except continued poverty, the obscenely wealthy political elite, the strengthening of a dozen terrorist armies and the election of Hamas.  American taxpayer dollars should not be used to further Hamas terrorism.  This legislation should be supported by every Congressman and Senator.  Please contact your senators and representatives to support these bills. www.necp.org
